Fancypants Granola

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 

In a large bowl, combine the following and mix together:

  • 2 cups oats
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped in large pieces
  • ½ cup dried cranberry
  • 3tbs birch syrup (maple syrup works too!)
  • 2tbs honey
  • ¼ cup Butternut Squash Seed Oil
  • 1tsp orange zest
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

Place the tray in the oven. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes or so to make sure the granola is evenly browned. Allow to cool completely, then add:

½ tsp sea salt

½ cup chopped dark chocolate

Mix thoroughly, then place in an airtight jar. Should keep for a week or so.
